When tickets are cheapest: from €40

The price calendar shows that from November to March a stable price of €40-41 holds. Starting in April there's a noticeable rise: May, June and July already reach €78-90, and August, the height of the beach season on the Costa Blanca, is the most expensive month (€103). September isn't cheap either (€90): the last wave of summer holidays plus the sea is still warm.

If price matters more to you than swimming, November-March (aside from freezing weather, which almost never happens in Alicante) offers the best balance: warm by local standards and tickets twice as cheap as in summer.
