Wizz Air expands its network of direct flights from Chișinău

New travel opportunities for passengers from the Republic of Moldova!

Residents of the Republic of Moldova now have access to more European destinations thanks to the significant expansion of the direct flight network operated by low-cost airline Wizz Air. Starting soon, six new destinations will be available directly from Chișinău International Airport:

New European destinations:

Hamburg – an important cultural and economic center in northern Germany

Turin – a historic city and the capital of the Piedmont region, known for its architecture and Italian cuisine

Frankfurt Hahn – a gateway to western Germany, ideal for low-cost travel

Nice – located on the stunning French Riviera, a popular summer vacation destination

Prague – the capital of the Czech Republic, famous for its medieval charm and bohemian atmosphere

Copenhagen – the capital of Denmark, a modern and sustainable city, perfect for city breaks

These routes are part of an ambitious expansion plan by Wizz Air, which is strengthening its presence in the Republic of Moldova by adding two additional aircraft to its Chișinău base by March 2026.

In addition to the new routes, passengers will also enjoy increased flight frequency to already popular European cities:

Brussels, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, Bologna

This expansion responds to growing demand for affordable and direct flights from the Republic of Moldova to major European hubs.
