Turkish Airlines expands its route network to the USA

Turkish Airlines has expanded its flight network to the United States by an additional 14 destinations, launching the Istanbul-Denver route from the new Istanbul Airport in June. In the initial weeks, the airline will operate flights to the administrative center of Colorado three times a week. Starting from July 9th, the frequency will increase to four flights per week.

Currently, Turkish Airlines operates wide-body Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft on the Istanbul-Denver route. The new US route connects in Istanbul with other Turkish Airlines routes, allowing passengers from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East to purchase single tickets to Denver with guaranteed transfers in Istanbul.

Turkish Airlines first began operating flights to the US in 1988, launching the Istanbul-New York routes with a stopover in Brussels. In 1994, these routes became non-stop flights. Presently, the airline flies from Istanbul to the following cities in the US: Atlanta, Boston, Washington, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Newark, San Francisco, Seattle, Houston, and Chicago.
